Roger Lee Anthony, 58, a driver for American Waste, died Friday. Services are 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 11th at North Star Baptist Church. Visitation is 1 to 5 PM, Friday April 10th in the Brannum Funeral Home Chapel. Interment is in Lone Star Cemetery.Under the direction of Brannum Funeral Home, Inc. Roger Lee Anthony was born to the late Helen and Less Anthony on May 5, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended and graduated from West Jefferson High School in New Orleans, LA. He was employed by American Waste. Roger Lee departed this life on April 3, 2015 at 5:15 A.M. in Moss Bluff, LA Roger was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Less Anthony; three sisters, Ruthie Mae Anthony, Reola Lemon, Irma Jean Anthony and his grandparents, Lucille and Tom Brice. He leaves to cherish his memory: two brothers, Fred (Aunthia)Detroit, MI; Charles (Romona)Anthony; three sisters, Carron (William), Moss Bluff, LA; Mary Anthony and Shirley Jones of New Orleans, LA; Annie Bell Peeler and Family; Yvonne Brown and Family; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; Geraldine (Jonu) Anthony; four stepchildren and grandchildren; Gertrude Threats and her seven children and grands.
